Abstract

Nowadays there are many ways to accomplish image reconstruction and processing with the help of nonlinear optics and dynamic holography—for instance, image reconstruction by stimulated scattering (SS).1-3 In these experiments information about the object is registered in the substance as a dynamic amplifying hologram or as a distinct object image. In the present work we study the possibility of image reconstruction in the beam of stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS) by the Fourier spectrum of the object illuminated by laser light.
