Abstract

A possible way of increasing the capacity of optical systems is through integration of WDM and CDMA, since both techniques are asynchronous in nature. Here, we discuss a system in which the time-spreading pattern is integrated with a wavelength-hopping pattern our system is analogous to hybrid systems in electrical CDMA.
