Abstract

The Super-ASHURA KrF laser (8 kJ, 12 pulses) is being developed to establish KrF-laser driver technology and to conduct high-power target-irradiation experiments.1 Figure 1 shows the layout of the Super-ASHURA. A main amplifier, Amp4, and an optical system for 12-beam multiplexing are being added to the present ASHURA system (660 J, 6 beams).2
