Abstract
In recent years there has been a rapid development of laboratory-scale high-power laser systems in the IR, visible, and UV spectral range. However, several applications would benefit from powerful radiation at even shorter wavelengths. Recently, the amplification of short-pulse radiation at 157 nm in a commercial discharge pumped F2-amplifier has been demonstrated.1
