Storage of Digital Image and Video Data in a Photorefractive Based Holographic Data Storage System

Abstract

We have implemented what is to the best of our knowledge the first fully-digital multiple page holographic data storage system. We have used this system to store digital color image and video information. The information has been recalled with bit error rates less than 10-6.
