Abstract

Owing to their ferroelectric behavior CF2- dipoles in polyvinylidenfluorid/trifluoroethylene (PVDF/TrFE) copolymers1 are predestined for poling at room temperature. Orientation of dipoles by an electron beam offers further the perspective to write poling structures into the polymer bulk with the resolution of electron lithographic systems.
