Abstract

By utilizing the broad gain bandwidth of the Cr:forsterite laser, femtosecond pulse generation from this system has been accomplished vising aeon stoop tic ally initiated continuous-wave (cw) Kerr-lens mode locking1 and additive-pulse mode locking2 schemes.
