Generation and characterization of fast rise-time pulses on the omega laser system

Abstract

A system for shaping the temporal profile of an optical pulse has been devised and implemented on the OMEGA laser fusion system.1 Pulses with a fast rising edge have been produced and amplified through the OMEGA laser system.
