Abstract
Synchronous optical pulses with different wavelengths are promising for uses such as multi wavelength transmission1,2 and measurement of optical fiber dispersion.3 Here we report the successful simultaneous generation of four wavelength optical pulses, we believe for the first time, using a mode-locked Er3+-doped fiber ring laser with 45° concatenated birefringent fibers.
