Amplification of supershort radiation pulses in compressed CO2 media

Abstract

In recent years interest in the development of laser systems producing ultrashort radiation pulses that have gigantic values of peak power at a sufficiently low energy has been steadily increasing. In this respect, active CO2 media with a comparatively high intensity of saturation are of great interest.
