Aurora KrF laser-physics experiments

Abstract

The multi-kilojoule Aurora KrF laser is a test-bed for the advanced laser, optics, and pulse-power technologies required for large ICF systems, it i s presently used to benchmark kinetics, extraction, ASE, pulse propagation, and electron diode computer models.
