Superintense laser radiation based on an injection-locked optical parametric amplifier

Abstract

We report a new injection-locked optical parametric amplifier (OPA) producing superintense frequency-tunable femtosecond light pulses. We consider such devices to be powerful instruments for solving the physical problems of interaction of superintense laser radiation with matter.
