Abstract

Previously reported diode-laser end-pumped solid-state lasers emphasize either Q-switched or continuous-wave (cw) frequency-doubled operation.1,2 I report on the end-pumping of a Q-switched Nd:YAG laser cavity to efficiently generate both cw and pulsed 532 nm laser radiation in an intracavity frequency-doubling scheme.
