Biomedical applications of the pulsed holmium laser

Abstract

We review the features that make the holmium laser particularly attractive for medical use and the various applications being developed in many subspecialities of medicine including gastroenterology, orthopedic surgery, radiology, neurosurgery, otolaryngology, and cardiology.
