Abstract

The electron beam tunable interfernce filter spatial light modulator (ETIF-SLM)1 combines the well-established technologies of the cathode ray tube (CRT) with nonlinear interference filters (NLIF).2 Figure 1 shows a schematic of the device showing the NLIF deposited on the inside of the faceplate that seals the end of a miniature CRT.
