Abstract

We report on short pulse generation from an active-passive mode-locked Nd:YAG laser, stabilized by two-photon absorption (TPA) negative feedback. TPA was suggested by Komarov and Ugozhaev1 as a means to get steady state pulse stabilization by negative feedback, but only recently the effective possibility of using it was demonstrated.2
