Abstract

The use of degenerate four-wave mixing (DFWM) as a diagnostic for minor species detection in combustion environments has been recently demonstrated for OH and NH.1-3 The high sensitivities achievable for flame radicals using modest laser intensities have been exploited to make 2-D measurements of the OH distributions in an atmospheric pressure flame.
