Abstract

Phase conjugation of weak laser pulses can be achieved by the process of Brillouin enhanced four-wave mixing (BEFWM). Energies as low as 2 × 10−14 J in a 20-ns pulse have been conjugated with a SNR of ~1 and a reflection coefficient of 108.1
