Review of magnetooptical materials and devices

Abstract

Magnetooptical effects and materials are reviewed. Magnetooptics leads today to new uses: nonreciprocal devices either in bulk or integrated form and storage applications, mainly the MO disk and the multi-track readout of magnetic tapes.
