Abstract
An efficient and simplified electrode design to perform the white-light laser operation which employs three primary colors from 636.0-nm (red), 537.8-nm (green), and 441.6-nm (blue) lines of the Cd II transitions is demonstrated using an improved concentric cylindrical hollow-cathode structure having a discharge length as short as 19 cm.
