Abstract
Nonlinear four-wave mixing processes in semiconductor diode lasers are relevant for the application of active devices in optical amplification, switching, and signal processing. Previous investigators have studied four-wave mixing in single-stripe diode lasers and traveling wave amplifiers using external frequency injection techniques.1-3
