An Efficient Solid State Source of 455 and 459 Nanometers

Abstract

We have produced 455 and 459 nanometers using the 1341 nanometer line in neodymium doped yittrium aluminum oxide. The fundamental beam is frequency tripled then efficiently rotationally Raman shifted in deuterium or hydrogen gas.
