Organic nonlinear optical devices

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

There is an increasing interest in the fabrication of devices enabling all optical signal processing with semiconductor laser sources. This requires the use of materials with high nonlinearity as well as waveguide structures which produce high light intensities from modest optical powers. Guided wave organic nonlinear devices have potential for this.
