Abstract

In this paper we present preliminary results of intracavity frequency doubling of a Nd:YAG laser pumped by a laser diode array, We have measured average output powers of 11 mW at 532 nm with a laser diode power consumption of only 1 W. This represents one of the most efficient laser systems in this region of the visible spectrum.
