Abstract
We have demonstrated for the first time an optical parametric oscillator (OPO) utilizing area which conveniently produces radiation from the far UV through the near IR. Although suggested previously1, this is the first time urea has been used to generate such widely tunable, coherent light. Because of its efficiency and great convenience, we anticipate the urea OPO will rapidly become an important optical device.
