Abstract

The observation of optical bistability in semi- conductor devices at room temperature is of great relevance to the practical application possibilities of ail optical logic and signal-processing elements. Recently room temperature optical bistability has been observed in a GaAs-GaAIAs superlattice etalon1 and InSb2 with moderately low-incident powers.
