Recent advances in measurement techniques with femtosecond optical pulses

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

Considerable progress has recently taken place in the generation and application of ultrashort optical pulses. I will describe the methods and techniques for extending time resolved measurements into the femtosecond time domain. Recent applications to measurements of ultrafast processes in semiconductors will be described.
