Experimental fabrication and evaluation of diffraction lenses in planar optical waveguides

Abstract

For signal processing in planar waveguides, it is necessary to integrate, focus, collimate, image, or Fourier analyze guided-wave beams by efficient lenses that have both diffraction-limited performance and tow noise.
