Differentiating hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke using spectral contrast optical coherence tomography angiography

Abstract

Traditional methods of optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) only visualize blood vessels where flow speeds are above a minimum velocity. Here we show that spectral contrast OCTA within the visible-light spectral range can visualize vessels with no flow.
