Two-photon imaging of neuronal voltage dynamics using genetically encoded voltage indicators

Abstract

We here report how the ASAP family of genetically encoded voltage indicators enables two-photon imaging of action potentials and subthreshold potentials in brain slices, and of graded electrical activity in Drosophila axonal terminals.
