Video-rate Volumetric Functional Imaging of the Brain at Synaptic Resolution

Abstract

We built an optical module that generates axially extended foci optimized for in vivo brain imaging, which allowed 30-Hz volumetric functional imaging of brains at synaptic resolution in a variety of model organisms in vivo.
