Deep Tissue Fluorescent Imaging via Computational Cannula Microscopy

Abstract

We present a computational technique to convert an ultra-thin optical needle (cannula) into a fluorescent microscope for deep tissue imaging. Cannula is inserted into dissected brain tissue up to 2mm and captured high resolution images of microglia cells.
