Analytical solution of the polarized photon transport equation in an infinite uniform scattering medium

Abstract

Extending our approach in analytical solving the scalar photon transport equation to the vector case, we obtained an Gaussian approximate time-dependent polarized photon distribution in an infinite uniform scattering medium, whose first two moments are exact.
