Abstract

An extensive clinical comparison of bronchial tissue autofluorescenxce excitation-emission spectroscopy with hystopathological analysis of biopsy material taken at the same site has lead to a construction of spectroscopically optimized fluorescence bronchoscope. The basic data are presented together with clinical autofluorescence imaging results.
