Abstract
This Monday evening discussion will focus on how questions such as "How can we achieve specificity in optical imaging?" and "How quantitative should optical imaging be for clinical use?" Panel participants will represent a cross-section of basic scientists, engineers, and clinicians.
Invited Speakers: Intralipid or patient, IRB or not to be, Bruce Tromberg, Univ. of California, USA Macromolecular-specific imaging and the early detection of cancer, Robert Bonner, NIH, USA Electro-optical instrumentation as medical devices—regulatory considerations for clinical trials and market clearance, Colin Pollard, FDA, USA
