In vivo Photothermal Optical Coherence Tomography of Gold Nanorods in the Mouse Eye

Abstract

We have performed in vivo photothermal optical coherence tomography (PT-OCT) in the mouse eye for the first time. PT-OCT signal increased significantly in neovascular lesions after systemic injection of gold nanorods as compared to control.
