Miniature Optical Fiber Sensor for Strain, Refractive Index And Temperature Measurement

Abstract

A miniature optical fiber sensor based on inner air-cavity is fabricated by use of femtosecond laser, fusion splicing and tapering techniques. The device has good sensitivity for strain, refractive index and temperature sensing.
