Temperature-switched ordered dye embedded nanoparticles for focal thermal therapy response measurements

Abstract

Safety and efficacy in thermal therapy can be greatly enhanced by imaging tissue temperature during treatment. We present a nanoparticle that can be used with photoacoustic imaging to determine temperature for focal thermal therapy applications.
