Video-Rate Structured Illumination Microscopy for Rapid Point-of-Care Pathology Imaging

Abstract

We report the development of structured illumination microscopy for fast optically-sectioned gigapixel imaging of large, fluorescently-stained tissue specimens. We demonstrate surface imaging of thick animal tissues and human prostate biopsies in point-of-care timeframes.
