Diffuse reflectance spectroscopy of epithelial tissue with controlled probe-to-tissue pressure

Abstract

We report a smart fiber-optic sensor that can collect self-calibrated tissue reflectance spectrum under controlled probe-to-tissue pressure and the clinical study of the pressure response of oral mucosal tissues of healthy volunteers in vivo.
