Dual-modality Imaging Needle for Combined Optical Coherence Tomography and Fluorescence Imaging of Fluorescently Labelled Tissue

Abstract

We report a high-sensitivity optical imaging needle for simultaneous optical coherence tomography and fluorescence imaging of tissue labeled with bound fluorescent biomarkers. We demonstrate its performance by imaging antibody-labeled epithelial cells in human liver sections.
