Plenoptic imaging of the retina: can it resolve depth in scattering tissues?

Abstract

A feasibility study into using plenoptic imaging as an alternative to optical coherence tomography to diagnose common diseases causing blindness. Simulations have been run to determine if depth measurements can be made into scattering tissue.
