Improving the Sensitivity and Specificity of Tumor Contrast in Fluorescence Imaging by Employing an Untargeted Fluorescent Reporter

Abstract

A dual-reporter fluorescence imaging approach is presented that can quantify biomarker expression in vivo. The approach was also demonstrated to provide better tumor contrast compared to targeted fluorescence uptake alone.
