Approximation Errors and Model Reduction in Three-Dimensional Diffuse Optical Tomography

Abstract

We apply the Bayesian approximation error model for treatment of model reduction by domain truncation and coarse computation mesh in diffuse optical tomography. The approach is tested with a three-dimensional example using experimental data.
