Abstract

In order to unambiguously distinguish between normal and malignant brain tissues in real-time, an achromatic version of a micro-mirror-scanned miniature dual-axis confocal microscope has been developed for ratiometric quantification of biomarker expression as revealed by the topical application of fluorescent contrast agents that are being developed using rational and combinatorial approaches.
