Optically Controlled Opening of Self-Sealing Giant Unilamellar Vesicles

Abstract

Micron-scale giant unilamellar vesicles could be readily opened using a focused laser beam in situ. These giant unilamellar vesicles have potential use as versatile microreactors possessing temporally and spatially controlled optical opening.
