Abstract

We present a clinical study of breast cancer detection using cellular diffuse optical tomography (DOT). We found that malignant tumor can be separated from benign lesion using cellular DOT since the difference in mean diameter and volume fraction between tumors/lesions and their normal surrounding tissues is significant.
