Spectral distortions due to a finite spectral bandwidth light source in time-resolved diffuse spectroscopy

Abstract

We discuss the spectral distortions occurring when time-resolved diffuse spectroscopy is performed illuminating with a spectrally wide source. Theoretical and experimental investigations are given and a data analysis method to overcome the distortions is proposed.
