Interplay of Chromatic Aberration and Scattering in Depth-resolved Two-photon Fluorescence Endospectroscopy

Abstract

The influence of chromatic aberration of an objective lens and tissue scattering on depth-resolved two-photon fluorescence spectra measured by a fiber-optic endomicroscope is investigated. Proper calibration is proposed to restore the true depth-dependent fluorescence spectra.
