Abstract

We reported on an approach to encapsulate indocyanine green and anticancer drug with polymeric micelles which can be bioconjugated for near-infrared molecular fluorescence imaging and potentially targeted therapy. In vitro experiments were conducted and demonstrated molecularly specific targeting, strong fluorescence enhancement in cancer cell imaging and elevated doxorubicin-induced cell death.
